You are invited to join this sign-on to support the December 5, 2023 letter to President Biden from gender justice, civil rights, and democracy focused organizations, as well as professional associations, urging President Biden to direct the US Archivist to publish the Equal Rights Amendment ("ERA") as the 28th Amendment to our Constitution.  

The letter was led by Shattering Glass and the National ERA Publication Task Force, a collection of organizations, advocates and activists working to ensure the duly ratified ERA is enshrined in our Constitution. Given the urgent need for the ERA to address the ever-increasing attacks on the rights of women, girls, and LGBTQIA+ people, including access to reproductive and gender affirming healthcare, there is growing call (detailed in the letter) for immediate publication of the ERA.  

The ERA is foundational and the most powerful tool available protect the rights of women, girls, and LGBTQIA+ people, as well as our democracy. We cannot afford to wait any longer, particularly given the cases headed to the United States Supreme Court. 

We urge you to sign on and stand with us in the fight for gender equality and our democracy.
