The Central Virginia chapter of AFP advances philanthropy by enabling people to practice effective and ethical fundraising. As an organization we strive to be representative and inclusive of the non-profit community in Central Virginia. We also strive to have a board that is equally representative and inclusive. The information provided in this form will be used to create a profile matrix and give us a better idea of the demographic makeup of our board members. All information is confidential.

AFP Board members are expected to attend member programs, and board and committee meetings with minimal absences. Board engagement and ambassadorship is essential to our success as a board and as an organization.

AFP Central Virginia Board members are expected to make an annual contribution to Be The Cause, a fund of the AFP Foundation that provides scholarships and funds special programs such as I.D.E.A. to benefit members. 100% board participation is an expectation.
