6th UTRGV Summer Saxophone Ensemble

The 6th UTRGV Summer Saxophone Ensemble is open to students, band directors, and community members. Saxophonists entering grade 9th and up (with 3+ years of experience) will start rehearsals on June 12 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Participants who want to play quartets and chamber music will rehearse each day after the large ensemble rehearsal from 4-5 pm. Please indicate the participant's intention later in this form.

Please plan to attend all rehearsals and concert, or if you will not be able to participate, please indicate this in one of the questions below.

Bring pencils, instruments, reeds, water, and snacks, and I will provide the music.

Full Schedule:
Saxophone ensemble - June 12-15, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm Edinburg Performing Arts Center - Band Hall
(optional: Chamber Music 4-5 pm each day before the large ensemble rehearsals.)

Saxophone ensemble - June 19-21, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm Edinburg Performing Arts Center - Band Hall/Aud.

(optional: Chamber Music 4-5 pm each day before the large ensemble rehearsals.)

Saxophone ensemble - June 22, 2:00 -5:00 pm (dress rehearsal) Edinburg PAC - Auditorium

Concert: Thursday - June 22 concert @ 7 pm Edinburg Performing Arts Complex - Band Hall/Auditorium. (Tickets will be $5). We will provide pizza and water to the students between the rehearsal and concert.

Concert attire will be black slacks or skirts, black socks, and shoes, and the 6th UTRGV Summer Saxophone Ensemble shirts.
