Citizen of the Year Nomination Form 2023
Citizen of the Year Award is an annual recognition given to an individual residing in the Town of Hepburn or surrounding rural municipality.   An individual with strong citizenship has an awareness of others, offers service to others, and a considers the bigger picture of a community.

Criteria:  
1.  Residency: An individual residing in the Town of Hepburn or in the immediate R.M. of Laird who references Hepburn. 
2:  Contribution:  Involvement could be in one or more of the following areas: volunteering, business, charitable work, and community life. 
3:  Timing:  Focus on involvement in the past calendar year, March 2022-February 2023, but previous involvements can be mentioned.

Nominations open January 1, and close February 1.

You can nominate yourself, and also as many candidates as you would like.  

Fill out one form per nomination.  Nominations are compiled by the Community Coordinator in conjunction with Hepburn & District Parks & Recreation Board, and then sent for review and winner selected by Hepburn Town Council.

Prizes will be announced and awarded at or around Winter Festival Weekend.
