PyCon SK 2024: Call for Proposals
Guidelines for Proposal Submission

There is no official restriction on the topic that you propose a talk session. Talks about Python or the Python community are most likely to line up with the interests of PyCon's audience, and a key consideration that the talk selection committee will be thinking about is your talk's ability to draw an audience.

You can also submit multiple proposals for lectures or workshops. However, you must fill out this form separately for each proposal.

In case of a joint lecture or workshop, please fill out one form together.

We also welcome lecture and workshop topics for complete beginners, which could be included in the Beginners Track - sections for participants who have no experience with Python.

You will find Slovak version of this form here.

If you'd like, we would be happy to give you feedback about your presentation and give you an opportunity to first present to a smaller audience (e.g. Python meetups in Bratislava) or discuss your talk one on one.

PyConSK receives hundreds of visitors each year who are not native English speakers. We'd like to be sure that we can understand you clearly. Can you please share a link of a recording where you present something in English? If you don't have such a link, please first create a quick 30-second recording. For example, you can read your Talk Abstract and upload it to YouTube (or elsewhere). Instructions: https://tips.uark.edu/record-and-publish-videos-to-youtube/
