This form is designed for school teachers and other school staff members. If you are a parent and you would like to bring the YSA program to your child/children's school, please contact the school's science coordinator as a school representative needs to apply for this program themselves.

How many schools will be involved? *
So we can make this programme as cost effective as we can for you, we encourage schools to work together to train their Young Science Ambassadors. This also means that pupils have the opportunity to work alongside children they don’t know, which can be a great way to build confidence and practise their science communication skills. The ideal number of schools involved in a day is 4, but we can accommodate more if necessary. One lead school will host the day with other local schools participating.

If you are unsure, please provide a rough estimate. This helps us figure out whether we need one or more training officers and whether it would be best to organise several separate training sessions for your school.
Which year group(s) would be participating in the Young Science Ambassador training? *
