6th Grade PPMS Band Registration 2020
Welcome to the Pelham Park Middle School and Pelham Park Middle School Band!  We are excited for the new and challenging opportunities this year has in store and even more excited you and your student have chosen to participate in our fantastic band program.  

We are very disappointed that we will have to wait a little longer to meet our new band family members.  Since we are going to cancel traditional instrument audition testing this year, we need to get an idea of what instruments your child is interested in!  Please make sure they check out the videos about all of the instruments that is included in our PPMS Band Slideshow (sent out from our city schools) and on our PPMS website.

How can I help the Pelham Park Middle School Band?
I greatly encourage and am asking you to become involved with the band program.  Volunteers support our program and render invaluable support to all bands and band activities.  The success of the band is due, in large part, to the active participation of you – the band parents. I ask for you to assist with the execution of our fundraiser, our concerts, chaperoning events, our band bash end of the year party, organization, public relations and cheering on our students at their performances.  We need your time and talents to help maintain a quality program; I cannot serve all of our students alone.  All you need to do is be willing, sign up and come; the work is not so difficult when it is divided.  Thank you in advance for volunteering!  

REMEMBER YOU MUST HAVE A BACKGROUND CHECK AND BE CLEARED IN ADVANCE TO HELP WITH OUR BAND PROGRAM - GO TO PCS WEBSITE FOR INFORMATION (costs $15).
