Fierce Allies Conflict Transformation Intake Survey
This questionnaire is designed to inform how Fierce Allies can best support all parties in transforming the tensions and conflict that have arisen. It is our hope that the process of thinking through the answers to these questions will inform your skilfullness and thoughtfulness in engaging in the conflict transformation process.

PLEASE NOTE: For your application to be considered complete, we must receive SEPARATE INTAKE SURVEYS FROM SOMEONE REPRESENTING EACH PARTY. Each survey should note the same person as the lead contact.

Instructions:

1. If you have not done so already, visit the “Is Fierce Allies for You?” page on our website before proceeding: https://www.fierceallies.com/is-fa-for-you

2. Take your time, be honest, thorough, and thoughtful. Your answers will be held with strict confidentiality.

3. Answer all the questions -- we will not respond to incomplete surveys. N/A is not an acceptable response to any of the questions.

4. If you are not sure how to answer any question, just say so, then go on to offer your best thinking. We can discuss and refine your response during our initial conversation.

5. Conflict Transformation processes generally include the following steps:
a. Representatives of each party complete an intake survey
b. Representatives of each party meet with the Conflict Transformation Steward (CTS)
c.i. If the CTS believes a successful outcome will result from bringing the parties together, they will schedule and facilitate an in-person convening (when feasibly possible) with all parties.
OR
c.ii. If the CTS does not believe a successful outcome will result, they will offer to do a second and/or third round of meetings with the individual parties. If at that point, the CTS believes a successful outcome will result from bringing the parties together, they will schedule and facilitate an in-person convening with all parties (pandemic permitting). If the CTS still doesn’t believe a successful outcome will result from bringing the parties together, they will make suggestions for how to proceed without convening the parties.

6. Sessions cost $300-$600 per hour - charging less for those that are severely impacted by colonialism, and more for those who are minimally impacted. Individual meetings with each party representative are 75 minutes, and cost $375 - $750. If 2 people would like to represent a party, those meetings will be 90 minutes each, and cost $450 - $900. All party convenings are 2 hours long and are prorated at the same hourly rate as above. Additional and longer sessions can be scheduled as needed at same rate.

7. We strive to make these services accessible to all, to the extent possible. If these fees are cost prohibitive please note in your survey the budget that would make this work accessible/comfortable for you. We will review and do our best to accommodate your request.

8. Upon submission of your survey you will receive a copy of your answers. You may edit your responses if needed via the confirmation email you receive.
