Austin DSA Neighborhood Groups WhatsApp Chat Invite Request Form
Purpose of this form:
This form is for requesting to join the WhatsApp chats associated with the Austin DSA Neighborhood Organizing Groups.

Background:
We set up around a dozen DSA neighborhood organizing groups around the presidential elections when it seemed pretty likely that there could be some unrest and the need for serious demonstrations. We want DSA members to be able to get to know one another and build support networks for difficult times and the political fight ahead!

During Winter Storm Uri, members in these groups were able to offer each other showers, electricity, and help get support to other mutual aid networks. They are currently restricted to members. Fill out this form if you'd like to join a WhatsApp chat!

If your neighborhood falls outside of these regions, you can write a post in the Membership Engagement Committee Slack channel to request the creation of a new group. You can request to be added to the Austin DSA Slack here: https://bit.ly/atxdsaslack
