High School Session #3 with Bruce MacMillan - Modeling with Right Triangle Trigonometry
Understanding the unit circle is one of the most basic skills of trigonometry. (Notice I said “understanding”, not In this session we will see two real world mathematical problems that can be solved with a knowledge of intermediate algebra and right triangle trigonometry. (Both of these problems have an optional calculus extension, for calculus teachers!) Participants should bring a graphing calculator with them. Ideal for trigonometry and Advanced Algebra classes.
