Freelance Consultant: Crash Course Biology
Our understanding of biology has changed over the last 10 years. Many people believe science is stagnant, but with so many developing ways to learn, our knowledge of the subject has evolved. We're looking for a consultant to help us reboot one of our earliest series on biology.

Crash Course, owned by Complexly, is an award-winning YouTube channel that invites students, teachers, and lifelong learners to tackle subjects they might have had trouble with or are curious to learn more about. We're collaborating with Howard Hughes Medical Institute BioInteractive on updating our biology series.

As our freelance consultant, you'll be largely responsible for developing the course episode list and syllabus, along with reviewing scripts and videos at multiple stages of this multi-year project. You should feel comfortable navigating all fundamental topics in biology in order to disseminate information thoughtfully to a mass audience. All our series include a variety of collaborators. You'll need to work with others respectfully; effectively communicating with internal and external staff while giving and receiving constructive feedback.

If you're interested, apply for this position by July 26th!
