This survey is intended to help us understand how your children travel to school, how they would like to travel to school and what elements of their current trip they find good and bad.

We are hoping that they can complete this survey with you as their parent or carer.

Where possible we would like to get the children’s view, but there is space at the end of this survey for adults to have their say. It is important that responses focus on travel to and from school so would ideally be completed with the person who is most often responsible for this trip.

The data collated in this report will be anonymous unless you decide to provide us with your name. Your address will not be published but we may produce a map that shows the approximate locations of all the survey respondents to help us plan for safer travel options.

A 'walking school bus' is a form of transport for a small group of school children organised and chaperoned by volunteering caregivers. The caregiver walks them along a set route with designated stops and pick up times for children who live along the route.
