Dear Eighth Grade Students and Parents:

The 8th grade field trip to Reunion Ranch is set for May 22, 2024.  Students will have an opportunity to swim and enjoy multiple outdoor activities such as basketball, volleyball, disc golf, an obstacle course, tug of war, and more!  Lunch will be included and consist of hot dogs, beans, chips, and unlimited drinks.  Students are able to bring their own lunch if they choose to do so.  

Field trip payment will be $20 per student.  You may pay online with a credit/debit card by visiting the DMS website and in the middle of the home page find Reunion Ranch (8th Grade Only).   Students may also bring cash to school each Friday in April and May to turn in at lunch.   Deadline for payment is Friday, May 17th.  No refunds will be issued.

It is critical that all students and parents understand the eligibility requirements.  Eligibility is based on a student’s behavior.  The criteria is outlined below:

- A student may receive no more than 2 days of In School Suspension (ISS) between March 25 and May 22.

- A student may not receive a LEO assignment between March 25 and May 22.
