MA Association for the Education of Young Children (MAAEYC) Board Nomination - 2019
The MAAEYC Board  has the following open positions: President-Elect (6 year term, July 1, 2019-June 30, 2021; moves into role of President, July 1, 2021-June 30, 2023; moves into role of Past President, July 1, 2023-June 30, 2025); Secretary/Clerk (2 year term, July 1, 2019-June 30, 2021); and At-Large Member (2 year term, July 1, 2019-June 30, 2021).  There are four (4) At-Large positions available.
Board members are expected to attend monthly scheduled Board meetings (held 2-3 hours/month from September-June), be present at the Annual Meeting, attend the Annual Conference, serve on at least one committee, and represent MAAEYC at various community events.  The minimum number of hours volunteered by a Board member is ~5 hours/month, with this varying based on time of year, events scheduled, and committee work.
