Acts as a resource for the rest of the board and supports them in their engagement and programming endeavors. Co-facilitate(with the JSLC) board meetings and develop team building activities.

The Administrative Intern helps with both Hillel's day-to-day operations and big picture work. Their areas of responsibility include expansion/coordination of Hillel's engagement database, managing the building and front door during some evenings, and other tasks as assigned by Hillel's Operations Manager. The administrative intern is someone who is detail-oriented, proactive in their tasks, and has the ability to work independently given instruction. No previous database or office management experience is needed, however the student who takes this role will be required to manage building and front door access from hours of 6-9 pm 2-3 days a week (based on personal schedule).

The Communications Intern manages social media accounts, run marketing and promotions for events. They will also create strategic outreach strategies.

The Engagement Intern, an integral part of Hillel's Student Board, focuses on student engagement, meeting students where they are on campus such as dining halls, Ping, Baker Center, and dorms. The Engagement Intern is someone who is not afraid to strike up a conversation with a stranger, and can develop strong relationships between themselves and the Jewish students they engage. The Engagement Intern will work with Hillel Staff to map out an engagement plan aimed at reaching 20-25 Jews on campus at least once during the 2021-2022 school year. Also the Engagement Intern will be in charge of writing a d'var Torah for Friday night Shabbat services at least once a semester. No previous engagement experience is required to apply, and we encourage anyone looking to create a vibrant and welcoming Jewish community on campus to apply!

They will also take the lead on Freshfest at the beginning of the semester, as well as First Year Students of Hillel(FYSH). The Greek Life Intern

The Israel Engagement Intern is a specialized position on Hillel's Student Board. The person in this role is committed to engaging with Israel in positive and meaningful ways, with both Jewish and non-Jewish students. They will create and run events each semester revolving around life and culture in Israel, collaborating when applicable with allies on campus such as the StandWithUs Emerson Fellow. They will also get the chance to develop and coordinate large-scale events, such as Israel Week, in conjunction with Hillel's Student Life Coordinator and Student President. In addition, the Israel Engagement Intern spearheads the recruitment of students for winter and summer Birthright trips through social media campaigns, one-on-one engagement, and tabling on campus. They are also expected to participate themselves, if eligible, in either the winter or summer OU Birthright trip. Travel experience to Israel and previous knowledge on the country is a huge plus, however not required. Anyone who is eager to learn the ropes is encouraged to apply!

The Fundraising and Development Intern is an important part of Hillel's effort to achieve big picture and fundraising goals. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and assists them with week-to-week fundraising tasks as well as helping them plan and coordinate major fundraising events during the '21-22 school year (#LightUpHillel for Hanukkah, Share the Love with Hillel phone-a-thon, the Hillel Gala, and Global Giving week). The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is a self-starter and detail-oriented. No previous fundraising or development experience is needed, however we are looking for someone able to learn quickly. Being Jewish is also not a requirement for this position, however whoever has this role should understand the importance of Hillel's mission and vision. Preference will be given to students interested in a career in non-profit work or fundraising.
