Sponsor Application
Sponsor the 2022 Teacher Travel Summit

Get your offers in front of 4,000+ teachers who love to travel.

The 2023 Teacher Travel Summit is an online event for teachers who want to explore more.

This is a market segment that travels internationally rather frequently.

Most educators in this audience have indicated they travel abroad at least 2-3 times per year.

As we reach the highest point of customer sophistication, it's incredibly important for brands to position themselves as personalized solutions to their customers' problems.

And as we move into an anticipated recession, brand loyalty will be critical for travel companies.

Teachers are highly educated and aware individuals; they pay attention to the efforts companies make to build goodwill with potential customers.

The 2022 Teacher Travel Summit is the perfect opportunity to increase your visibility and build goodwill with a niche travel lifestyle audience.

This event will have both recorded and live components, and everything takes place online December 1st-4th, 2022.

About the Audience

Traveling Teachers are educators with serious wanderlust. Most teachers in my community travel abroad several times a year - often for extended periods of time during their summer breaks (May-August), and for a week or more during Winter Break (December-February) and/or Spring Break (March-April).

They're highly educated - most have at least a Bachelor's Degree plus a Teaching Certification. Many have a Master's Degree, and some even hold Doctoral degrees.

They're very generous with what they find. Teachers will often help others apply for a grant or fellowship if it's been awarded to them before (at no charge - they offer this for free to pay it forward).

There's a large segment of teachers within this audience who have travel-themed side hustles. Many of them are travel bloggers, tour operators, tour guides, trip leaders, travel influencers, and/or content creators.

Many have privately expressed interest in leaving their teaching jobs, especially after the past two years. Some Traveling Teachers prefer the idea of snagging a remote corporate job over an entrepreneurial lifestyle.

Audience Stats

Here are some demographics about my audience:
  • 90% female, 10% male

  • 66% are between the ages of 25-44, with the highest concentration around 25-34

  • Traveling Teachers tend to be in a committed relationship or partnership (married, long-term)

  • Though many of these teachers are married or are in committed relationships, their partners often don't travel with them because they do not have the same work schedule. This is a core frustration for them! It's hard for them to find others who have their schedule, and they often don't have those friends at their schools. They may have even been shamed by their peers about how often they travel.

  • Many do not have kids yet, some plan to never have kids

  • The highest percentage is from the United States (75%), followed by the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, France, and South Africa (in order of highest to lowest percentages)

  • They are very keen to when they are being sold to. Being educators and presenters themselves, they expect excellent, high-quality content - even when it's free. They will buy when they see value, though!

  • They LOVE meeting up and traveling with others in-person!
