As a student, I agree to: *

Set up and attend a weekly one-on-one check in with my supervisor to ask questions, receive task assignments and feedback.

Perform all assigned tasks to the best of my ability.

Report to work on the days and times agreed upon with my supervisor for a minimum of 200 hours.

Arrange for a 'site visit' meeting between me, my supervisor, and my faculty advisor at around the 100 hour mark.

Complete the academic assignments connected to this class.

Meet weekly with my faculty instructor and my classmates during an assigned virtual reflection discussion time.

Required

As an internship supervisor, I agree to: *

Provide the student with 200 hours of work experiences that generate meaningful learning related to the student's major and/or minor.

Participate in the 'site visit' meeting arranged by the student intern and including the faculty advisor.

Provide the student intern with practical work experiences that are professionally relevant to the student intern.

Meet weekly, on average, with the student intern to develop a relationship, provide instructions, create a space for questions, and deliver feedback.

Contact the faculty internship faculty members with any concerns regarding the student intern or unforeseen interruptions of the ability to fulfill the other items of this MOU.

Assist the faculty coordinator in evaluating the student intern's performance to assign a grade at the end of the internship experience.

Required

We (student and supervisor) can expect that the faculty advisor will:

Meet weekly with the student intern to provide reflection space, competency development, and general support to ensure that the intern is able to effectively fulfill their obligations.

Participate in the 'site visit' meeting arranged by the student intern and including the internship supervisor.

Be available to communicate with the internship supervisor regarding any concerns or questions about the student intern.

Provide a means for the internship supervisor to evaluate the student intern and assign a grade.
