Serving Our Community
Joining with the Student Council again this month, our club has an opportunity that supports their efforts and allows all of our Polar Bears to help support our community.

On Thursday, January 19th from 3:30 to 5:00 we will be coming together to help update the Little Free Libraries we have both inside and outside of our school to ensure that everyone who would like a free book to read is able to access one.  We know how caring our Polar Bears are and we want to provide occasions where they can give their time for others.  We hope that some will be able to join us this month!

This month, aside from their participation, students can also take an extra step of bringing a gently used book from home to add to our Little Free Libraries as well as find a book from our current collection that they have not read yet to keep at their home and read.  Further, if your child has a picture book that they love and have practiced reading, they may bring that book with them and we will begin our "digital read-aloud library."  (***Please note that given timing we may not get to all children who want to read that afternoon.  We will work to find time to allow them to do this during their lunch recess times if they are interested and not able to share on the 16th.)
