Physics 1 Registration
Sign up for Physics 1, and algebra-based physics course. This course covers 1D motion, 2D motion(projectile), basic understanding of vectors, Newton's laws, free fall problems, uniform circular motion and more. This course also includes live demos to enhance student understanding.

Meeting Times:
Wednesdays 3:40 PM EST - 4:40 PM EST for a total of 16 classes from 1/25/2023 - 5/24/2023 (no class 2/22/2023, 4/19/2023).

About the instructors: 
This course is taught by Nicholas Lai and Michelle Zhang, who are seniors at Boston Latin School. Both Nicholas and Michelle have extensive experience in physics, scoring a 5 on the AP Physics Electricity and Magnetism course, a calculus-based course that is widely considered to be the hardest physics course available at the high-school level. They are currently taking AP Physics Mechanics, another calculus-based physics course. In addition to performing well in class and on AP Exams, Nicholas and Michelle have experience in teaching physics, as they both volunteer as physics tutors at their school.

Preferred Prerequisites:
This course requires a strong understanding in math, specifically pre-algebra and algebra. Preferred knowledge in mathematics includes: solving system of equations, basic understanding of trigonometry(a review will be covered in class, but it is helpful to have a strong background)

Class Capacity:
At Tutorstars, we are committed towards providing quality education, which includes maintaining an exceptionally low student-to-teacher ratio. This class will be capped at 12 students(6:1 student/teacher ratio) to ensure the quality of our lessons. A full refund will be issued if you have registered after the capacity has been reached.
