Cyber Colloquy 3.0: Deepfake Discovery Global Hackathon

The Department of Cyber Security, in collaboration with CyberPeace, is proud to announce the third edition of our annual event, Cyber Colloquy 3.0. This year, we are taking a significant leap forward by integrating a hackathon centered on one of the most pressing cyber threats of our time: Deepfakes.

The Challenge: Deepfake technology has evolved rapidly, blurring the lines between reality and fabrication. Its potential misuse in spreading misinformation poses a grave threat to individual privacy, security, and societal trust. In response, our hackathon is dedicated to developing innovative deepfake detection models. We aim to empower participants to contribute to a safer digital ecosystem by mitigating the risks posed by deepfakes.

Call for Mentors: To ensure the success of our participants and the hackathon as a whole, we are seeking experts in the field of AI, machine learning, and cyber security who specialize in deepfake technology.
