The Dallas Area Gerontological Society provides financial assistance to those preparing for a career in an aging-related field, or those who are currently working with older adults, but wish to increase their skills through either a degree or certificate program.
ELIGIBILITY FOR SCHOLARSHIP:
1.  The applicant must live in the Greater Dallas Area
2.  The applicant must be seeking a career in an aging-related field including Social Work, Counseling, Nursing,  Administration, Research, Medical, Certified Nursing Assistant, and other aging-related fields.
3.  The applicant must be enrolled in or accepted by a college or program before funds will be released.  Funds are paid to the university or program directly.
4.  The applicant must complete the Scholarship Application, and submit any requested forms prior to the application deadline.
