NASC Competitive Skills Workshop - 26th September 2020
NASC are providing throughout 2020 a series of competitive skills workshops to enable swimmers to have more time to practice.
Sessions are to run at Bedale Leisure Centre 1.00-2.30pm
On 26th September 2020 practice will be built around the following areas:
-> Developing propulsion through rotation and sculling - Breaststroke
-> The importance of a strong transition - timings and speed of different stroke transitions
-> Starts Practice - Specific Focus around set position and breaststroke under waters (Swim England Guidance Permitting)
-> Cool Down - Stretches focused around the session completed

The session is aimed at those actively competing at Open level competitions and above. All Swimmers should be aged between 10 and 16 by 31/12/2020. All swimmers are expected to bring their own equipment for the session (Hats, Goggles, Costumes, Drink Bottle - Full, Kickboard, Pullbuoy, FINS). It would also be ideal, but not essential, if swimmers had front facing snorkels and finger paddles.

Total cost of the workshop session is £10
