Learning Strategies
Join us for a compelling presentation and discussion of the
effective resources for hiring, training, and retaining employees in the new
era of business.
The Business Roundtable Initiative 2023 will provide a 2-hour, fast paced
informative program of relevant, timely, and necessary alternative solutions
for effective hiring, developing and retaining staff in this new era of
business.
This free event provides participants with a much-needed forum to openly discuss
their hiring and retention challenges as we continue to forge through the staffing
issues which were exacerbated by the pandemic. Through this engaging
discussion, we hope to find the training and employment gaps so that we can
develop programming to meet the needs of the business community.
In addition to the open forum, our program will include a panel of speakers who
will highlight the untapped job seeker market of returning citizens (aka
individuals who were formerly incarcerated), individuals with varying
abilities, and the emerging adult population. Employers will have the
opportunity to learn about work incentives, tax credits, and the benefits of
hiring non-traditional employees.
Please note: In order to accommodate everyone, we ask that only ONE (1) person from each business attends. The attendee should be an individual who has the ability to hire staff and affect change within the organization.
