Thank you for your interest in the Project Management Apprenticeship Program (PMAP)! This program aims to help students and new graduates fast-track their project management careers. To learn more about the program, please visit https://pmi.bc.ca/project-management-apprenticeship-program.

The following form will help us learn more about you and should take about 10 minutes to complete. If you have any questions, please send an email to pmap@pmi.bc.ca and we will respond as soon as possible.

Your commitment is a critical component to your eligibility for this program. What are your academic plans from April 2020 to October 2020? Please note your commitment is imperative for your success in this program. Should you be accepted in this program, we expect you to inform us ASAP if you plan to be away for an extended period of time. Furthermore, because you will be partnered with a senior PM professional, we expect you to communicate absences and proactively re-coordinate your schedule with theirs. *
One of your goals in this program is to earn a CAPM certificate. PMAP will support your learning and will offer you CAPM practice material to help you pass your CAPM exam. However, please note that because of the program's competitiveness, your exam fee reimbursement is subject to you passing the CAPM exam (proof will be required). *
If accepted as a mentee for this program, you will be required to: (1) meet with your mentor on a monthly basis for a minimum of 2 hours; (2) commit to your assigned project task and/or scope as agreed upon; (3) take the CAPM exam before the end of this program; (4) inform the PMAP directors of any changes to your commitment as soon as possible. *
Please be informed the purpose of PMAP is to give you project management related exposure and connect you with like-minded professionals. Although it may not directly land you in a job, however, it will open your doorway to job opportunities through the experience and the great connections that you make during the tenure of six months. *
Please be advised you will be charged a membership fee of $53.60, which covers your PMI and CWCC chapter membership, as well as one entry for our orientation and wrap-up event. *
