Farmers Market Fund Board Interest Form
The Farmers Market Fund (FMF) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization created by Portland Farmers Market.

We make healthy, locally grown food accessible to underserved Oregonians.

FMF's main program is Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB), a SNAP matching incentive program at farmers markets across Oregon. We believe DUFB is a triple win: families bring home more fruits and veggies, small and mid-sized farmers get a financial boost, and Oregon's economy thrives.

This is an exciting time of growth for FMF: the organization recently received at $1.5 Million appropriation from the state of Oregon to expand the statewide DUFB program at farmers markets, farm share sites, and rural groceries over the next two years!

FMF is run by a small staff and an active board of directors. We are excited to expand our board with members from across Oregon who share our passion for supporting local farms and ensuring all Oregonians have access to nutritious, locally-grown fruits and veggies.

Board members can expect to volunteer 2- 6 hours of their time per month through participation in board meetings and committee meetings. Board meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month; committee meetings are less frequent and based on necessity and availability.

Our success lies in our diversity: we encourage all community members with different backgrounds, experiences, and passions to apply.
