Volunteer Forester Spring Session signup

This four week class is a great opportunity to learn about trees from industry professionals. Whether you are interested in the program for personal knowledge or job-related reasons, the courses provided will offer you worthwhile information. 

Cost of the class is $50 per person for all four sessions. 
Teachers and students receive a discount, $25 per person.
Active Knoxville AmeriCorps members may attend for no cost.
Payment information will be collected after submission of this form. If you are not using a card, cash or a check may be brought on the first night of class.

Class information:

May 1, 2024, 6-9pm : Ecology and Geography of East Tennessee with Dr. McKinney, UT Faculty. Class will be held at the Larry Cox Senior Center (3109 Ocoee Trail)

May 8, 2024, 6-9pm : Tree Planting with Kasey Krouse, Urban Forester. Class will be held at the EV Davidson Community Center (3124 Wilson Ave)

May 15, 2024, 6-9pm : Trees Responding to Environmental Factors with Lee Rumble, UT Extension Agent. Class will be held at Victor Ashe Park (4901 Bradshaw Rd)

May 22, 2024, 6-9pm : The Art and Science of Tree Pruning with Sam Adams, UT Campus Arborist. Class will be held on campus, exact meeting location TBD.
