Our weekly volunteers provide at least a week's notice when they want their shift to be sent over our HSHS Substitute Volunteer Mailing List for pick-up. However, regular volunteers will occasionally miss shifts on short-term notice (i.e. they fall ill the day before their shift, or simply don't show up for their shift without notifying us, and don't send in a substitute).

As a result, we often depend on our substitute volunteers for help. On the form below, please indicate which shifts you're generally available to sub for. If we have an emergency volunteer shortage on a given shift, and you indicated that you're generally available to sub for that shift, you'll be contacted by a HSHS staff member. We understand that you still won't always be available, but this helps us find someone who can show up last minute. Thank you!!
