Arrow Slocan Regional Branding Survey
We appreciate your input …. Only answer those questions you wish to.
The Arrow Slocan Tourism Association (ASTA) is undertaking a regional branding process to help us communicate to visitors who the Arrow Slocan is and what we can offer. We want to reflect our community’s values when we tell visitors about our region. To do this, we need your thoughts and input. The more we know about how you and your community see this region, the more authentic our regional branding. This means we attract those visitors that appreciate our region for what it offers and respect it as much as we do. We love the Arrow Slocan and invite you to share your vision for moving forward.
About us….
ASTA is a new destination marketing organization committed to sustainable regional tourism. ASTA works collaboratively in a marketing partnership with all regional communities. We support local businesses and operators to undertake effective tourism marketing and projects that increase local tourism revenue, visitation and economic benefits. This coordination of regional marketing enables local job creation and business success alongside enrichment of recreational opportunities, arts and culture.
The Arrow Slocan is home to pristine wilderness areas with freshwater lakes, temperate rainforest and unspoiled beauty. ASTA serves this region that includes Areas H and K of the Regional District of Central Kootenay, as well as the Villages of Nakusp, New Denver, Silverton, and Slocan. The region starts on upper Arrow Lake at Edgewood, covering over to Nakusp, east to Halcyon, and south down the Slocan Valley to Playmor junction.
