The Union Square Farmers Market is open Saturdays, 9am-1pm at the Union Square Plaza in Somerville, MA. Open rain or shine! Opening Day will be May 11, 2024 and the market will run through October 26, 2024. Join us for one of the most successful markets in the state as we enter our 20th season.

Please be aware of the following:
  • Musicians are responsible for providing, setting up, and breaking down their own equipment
  • Musicians must carry their own General Liability Coverage Policy up to $1,000,000
  • Musicians will be performing in the selling area of the market. As such, it is important to balance the volume of music so that vendors and customers can clearly communicate with each other
  • The market is open RAIN or SHINE. Musician attendance is expected regardless of weather.
  • We will provide a tent

I have read and understand the 2024 Union Square Farmers Market Rules & Policies and meet the vendor eligibility standards stated therein. I agree to abide by all Market requirements as outlined in the Rules & Policies, as well as all federal, state, and local laws, codes and regulations. I understand that if conditions arise, 2024 COVID-19 Farmers Market Guidelines may be implemented at any point during the season, and that compliance at all times is required. I understand that Union Square Main Streets, Inc., and its Executive Director and Market Manager are authorized, at their discretion, to issue warnings, suspensions, and/or immediate revocation of market participation to vendors, customers, or other market participants for failure to comply with any Union Square Farmers Market Rules and Policies or for otherwise engaging in disruptive behavior and, in the event of a suspension or revocation, I will not be entitled to a refund of fees paid and I agree to pay any and all pending vendor fee installments. I agree to cooperate with Union Square Main Streets, Inc. and pay all required vendor fees on schedule or incur late fines as stated herein.
