GENERAL WAIVER AND RELEASE *

The undersigned discharges VACT from any liability or claim that the undersigned and/or their child may have against VACT with respect to any bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from the undersigned and/or their child participating in events or activities held at or sponsored by VACT, whether caused by the undersigned, their child, or by the negligence of the VACT or its officers, board members, employees, agents, or otherwise. HOWEVER, VACT AND THE UNDERSIGNED UNDERSTAND THAT VACT IS NOT RELEASED FROM LIABILITY FOR HARM INCURRED BY THE UNDERSIGNED AND/OR THEIR CHILD THAT RESULTS FROM VACT’S INTENTIONAL OR RECKLESS CONDUCT. The undersigned understands that VACT does not assume any responsibility for any of the foregoing risks and for any injury to myself and/or my child including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, death, illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense or any kind, that I and/or my child may experience or incur in connection with my and/or my child’s participation in events or activities held at or sponsored by VACT. On behalf of myself and my child, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless and indemnify VACT, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from any and all claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. On behalf of myself and my child, I understand and agree that this release includes any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of VACT, its employees, agents and representatives.
