Seattle JACL continues our Mixed Race Seattle series on Sept. 18 with a free workshop on AloHā—the Indigenous way of navigating relationships. This session is geared toward people who identify as BIPOC and/or Mixed Race who could use support in their relationships with white partners, friends, and family members. The two-hour session will include presentation, discussion in small groups, and a short break. The workshop is led by Gerry Ebalaroza-Tunnell, the Executive Director of Co3 Consulting: Co-Creating Cohesive Communities. Ebalaroza-Tunnell is a doctoral candidate at the California Institute of Integral Studies, and the Director of Equity for the Mukilteo School District. As a Mixed Race Hawaiian/Asian/Pacific Islander woman married to a white man, Ebalaroza-Tunnell brings lived experience, professional expertise, and her own ancestral wisdom to the session,
