What is Community Engagement to you?
Hi Everyone!

I have been invited to lead a short discussion on "Community Engagement" as part of the SynBio United 2023 event that iGEM is holding on Saturday 26 August 2023 and, in advance of that, I wanted to take the chance to see how my different communities, fellow community members, and colleagues in community management/coordination roles view "community engagement".

(That said, I'll be still collecting responses even after the SynBio United gathering has ended!)

SynBio United 2023 is a virtual gathering for Synthetic Biology Associations and Networks from around the world, convening together to discuss current issues within these communities.
This year, the gathering will focus on "successfully maintaining SynBio Associations", with the theme: SynBio United - Growing Together: Nurturing & Maintaining SynBio Associations.

Ideally, I'd like to include your feedback within my discussions, so your help in filling out this survey is greatly appreciated!

Please do share this with others within your community, if possible!

Many thanks for taking the time to complete my survey!
Yan-Kay

P.S. I'd be happy to share these results with those who request it, assuming consent has been provided by participating individuals! If interested, please get in touch via LinkedIn.
