Sports Medicine Interest
Focus of Sports Medicine 1/2/3/4 is for students who are interested in pursuing a healthcare career related to orthopedics. This class will focus and work on anatomy and recognition of injuries, evaluation, and treatment.
Students will assist in providing medical coverage at Knightdale High School athletic practices and events under the supervision of a certified athletic trainer.  Each student will be assigned to a specific sport each season in which they will be required to obtain at least 10-25 hours per quarter.
