About the Trainer
Umair Khan (CPMC-T, GMBPsS) is a certified personal medicine coach trainer, he has expertise in the field of recovery-oriented services both on a service delivery level and a supervisory and training level. He is currently associated with Recovery College at St. Pancras International Hospital, Camden & Islington NHS Trust UK where he’s training community and core mental health teams in delivering personal medicine to service users affiliated with the trust. Apart from personal medicine, he’s also trained in other recovery-oriented evidence-based practices such as WRAP, Cognitive Therapy for Recovery, Psychosis reach and IPS. Umair’s practices are inspired from the works of Dr. Mark Ragin’s, Dr. Patricia Deegan and William Anthony, and is a firm believer in paving way forward for an inclusive world where people with mental health challenges are accepted and provided resources to thrive on an equal level. In the past He’s also been affiliated with The Recovery House which is the first pioneering project for delivering Psych. Rehab Services in Pakistan.
