Dungeons and Dragons is a fantasy tabletop roleplaying game, in which players create fantasy characters and work together to battle monsters, go on quests, and collaboratively tell stories. You can find more information on the basics of the game
here. In our group, one of the facilitators will assume the role of Dungeon Master- guiding you through story.
What makes this group unique compared to other Dungeons & Dragons groups is the inclusion of two trained clinicians, who act as the groups' facilitators. Included in the group is a clinical intake session, where each participant gets individualized support from both facilitators to build their character and identify their goals for the group. Before and after gameplay, the facilitators will lead group members in discussions about communication, self-advocacy, and identity.
