Session proposals for CP Summit - 2022 Northeast & Mid-Atlantic Creative Placemaking Leadership Summit.  Deadline:  January 8, 2022
Thank you for your interest in the upcoming Summit.  It will be online and in-person from April 18 to 22. The online portion of the Summit will be April 18-19; the in-person portion April 21-22.  We are looking for sessions that offer Summit participants new or different ideas or perspectives or different ways of learning.  Every one is welcome to submit a proposal.

We are looking to offer many types of sessions: panel discussions, training sessions, research roundtables, site visits, ; and short Shares (Up to 10 minutes).

You can submit a proposed session on any topic that's relevant to creative placemaking.  However, the Working Group members -- who will be reading your proposal -- are especially interested in these topics:

*Managing gentrification and minimizing displacement
*Assessing the impacts of placemaking
*Building public/private partnerships
*Engaging artists
*Equity and diversity issues in creative placemaking
*Sustainable funding models for shared and community-oriented cultural spaces

All sessions selected will focus on at least one of these five areas:
*Partnerships -- Sessions can focus on collaborations, alliances, community engagement, or similar topics
*Projects -- Planning, designing, dealing with problems or mistakes, impacts, or similar topics
*Programs -- Similar to projects, but more focused on the sustainability of ongoing work
*Policies -- Laws, guidelines or value systems at local, state or federal levels
*Permanence -- Fundraising, capacity building, self-care and other topics focused on sustaining creative placemaking and creative placemakers.

If your session is selected, you (or your organization) will get:
*For a session of at least 60 minutes, an honorarium of $250, 1 complementary ticket to the full Summit, and a complementary ticket to the online portion of the Summit for each of the session presenters/trainers/speakers (up to 4 people total)
*For a Share, a complementary ticket to the online portion of the Summit, a 50% discount on Summit  tickets for each presenter (up to 2 people total)
*A free online exhibit booth
*Up to 1 hour in coaching in instructional design or strategic communications
