STEM Workshop Interest
The MEA Foundation is collaborating with UCSD's Project in a Box (PIB) to offer an interactive, hands-on Makerspace experience right in your own home, with full instruction and support!

If we receive enough interest, we'd love to host a workshop (virtual this year), FREE for all interested MEA students. Due to the complexity of these kits, it's suited for Grades 5 and up*. To get an appropriate headcount and obtain an accurate number of project kits, we need your input! These kits are typically $50 each so please provide your info/interest as accurately as possible and let us know if your interest or availability changes.

Please note that there is a limit of one (1) kit per household but please indicate the grades of all interested grade 5+ students in your household for us to accommodate for the total attendance as well.

We will also need a few parent volunteers who are willing to be trained (for FREE) and offer their assistance during our workshop. There will be a lot of support so don't be hesitant if you lack engineering experience--you could learn something new too and work on a cool project with your child in the process!

* UCSD's PIB currently does not have kits for younger students at this time but it's something they're working on. We're hoping this collaboration can open doors for future opportunities for all our students in years to come.
