Board representatives will review all submitted forms, and the interested member’s potential fit on the board.

A board representative will contact interested parties within two weeks of receipt of a form and set up an introductory meeting. If you don’t hear back from us within two weeks, please email ncfa@nohoarts.org to follow up.

After the introductory meeting, if it seems like a good fit, the potential board member will be invited to join a committee for three months as a trial period for everyone to get to know each other. At the end of the three month trial period, if the applicant is still interested, the board will vote on whether to invite them to become a board member.

The Board of Directors of the Northampton Center for the Arts aims to represent the community at large. We strive to build a board with a broad range of experience and skills. We specifically welcome applications from people who represent underserved groups in our community.
