Hosts’ Background: Tanish is a rising junior and Riya is a rising sophomore at Phillips Exeter Academy, NH. They attended Millburn schools until 2020 and experienced, first-hand, the process of selecting and applying for private schools, including applying for scholarships. They are both Eagle Scouts and previous Senior Patrol Leaders in Millburn/Short Hills Scouts BSA Troops 17 and 19. They have run many coding events through their non-profit www.hercomputing.com — a member of the white house initiative CS4ALL. To introduce kids to the exciting business of technology, they have designed and developed a tabletop board game titled Who Wants To Be A Billionaire through their initiative Billion Kids Code. In their spare time, Riya enjoys folding origami and hiking while Tanish enjoys playing chess and basketball.
