Leadership Blair County Youth Application Form
Thank you for applying to the Blair County Chamber's Leadership Blair County Youth Program! We're excited that you are taking the initiative to participate in a program dedicated to bettering you as well as our community. Here is what you need to know about this application: 
  • Applications must be signed by you and your parent/guardian (last two lines on the application)
  • Please complete application by Friday, April 30, 2024 
  • Any questions - ask your guidance counselors for assistance and/or email bmayer@blairchamber.com. 

Here's some information about the application and selection process: Once we receive all applications from the incoming 10th graders from Blair County school districts, our selection committee will review them. As there are only 24 spaces available, we use a blind reviewing process (all names, addresses, parents’ names and emails are deleted from the application) so the committee is selecting the applicants strictly from the content of their application and referral letters in order to select the most diverse group of students.

We will send out acceptance letters via email approximately by May 24, 2024 (please make sure you submit the correct email addresses below). If you are not accepted into the program, you will receive a letter via email to let you know that also. If you do not receive an email by that date, please do not assume you were not accepted into the program. With the number of applications we get, it may take a few extra days to get them reviewed.

Please Note: If accepted into the class there is a mandatory Orientation on July 30, 2024!
