Science Challenge: Complete Melting Ice experiment then answer the questions below.
In this experiment, you will investigate what makes ice melt faster, by adding several different solids to your ice.
You will need:

- 15 Ice cubes
- 5 clear cups, jars, or containers
- 3 tablespoons of baking soda
- 3 tablespoons of salt
- 3 tablespoons of sugar
Melting Ice Set-Up:
1. Put 3 ice cubes in each of the 5 cups.
2. Add 3 tablespoons of baking soda to cup #1
3. Add 3 tablespoons of salt to cup #2
4. Add 3 tablespoons of sugar to cup #3
5. Cups #4 and #5 will be your controls and will have nothing added to the ice. (controls are used to measure how the other tested subjects do)

6. OBSERVE the cups every 10 minutes for 30 minutes.
