FAN-CLUB is a lending library and zine that is working to make shows and other events safer from COVID-19. After losing our physical location in July, the work of getting fans to different events has been a challenge, and the demand has not increased enough for items to be passed from one event to the next easily (without me driving out from the suburbs!!!)

I wanna figure out how I can make this project useful/accessible/better understood in the BOSTON* DIY/PUNK/HC/QUEER community, in particular, bc that's my community (even tho I am not as involved in person as I once was). If you are in a band, book shows, or work at a venue, your feedback would be especially helpful. But I really wanna hear from everyone. (It's also totally ok and even maybe extra helpful if COVID isn't something you usually think about rn)

personally unsure of what, if anything, would be most effective

pushback from others involved (bandmates, venue workers, venue management)

can't access tools like affordable/free masks, air purifiers, etc

social concerns (not wanting to bring up COVID, enforcing masks, stigma)

logistics (transportation of air purifiers, volunteers to set up mitigation tools)

didn't think it was necessary or desired

not directly involved with the show/events, so not sure if it'd be allowed/if its my place as an attendee
