Global Classrooms DC 2021 - 2022 Year-Round Program Registration
Established in 2003, Global Classrooms® DC (GCDC) is the flagship education program of the United Nations Association of the National Capital Area (UNA-NCA). Through original global education curriculum and Model UN mini-simulations, GCDC helps prepare globally aware citizens, educates students grades 5-12 on international issues and the work of the United Nations, and strengthens key skills including public speaking, negotiation, and writing.

GCDC also organizes professional development workshops and two Model UN Conferences including the Annual Spring Model UN Conference at the U.S. Department of State and Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) in Washington DC.

Our programming is open to all public, private, and international schools, as well as homeschool co-ops, leadership organizations, and clubs in the US and abroad.

GCDC materials can be used both virtually and in the classroom, including a hybrid curriculum with distance learning options for every activity and a guide for conducting Model UN simulations virtually.

If you have any questions, please email us at gcdc@unanca.org
