Please include any details about your entry that you feel might be important to the judges, such as the items you have used that are unusual, your entry’s name, etc.
3. Judging: Entries will be judged on December 10th by the attendees of the Holiday Extravaganza.  To vote, please see the attendant at the front door of the clubhouse for tickets.  Each age group will have a different color ticket and judges will be given one of each ticket color to vote.
4. Winners: Winners will be posted on The Social Committee website (www.bcsocialevents.com) and winners will be emailed on Saturday evening.
5. Pick Up: Participants must note on their card if they intend to pick up their gingerbread houses. If participants wish to pick up their houses, they must do so between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Any houses left at the clubhouse past 1:30 will be set on the covered porch at the front of the Siena clubhouse for pick up at another time Saturday. Any houses left at the clubhouse by Sunday will be discarded.
6. Entry Specifics:
Everything visible on your entry MUST be edible. For example, candy in a foil wrapper is non- edible - you must remove the foil. The only exception is the edges of the board on which your entry is mounted. If you wish to use non-edible items such as lights or other items, you must cover them with edible items or hide them in the interior of the structure.  No plugs will be available for use so any electronics must be battery operated.
All entries must be mounted on a sturdy piece of cardboard or plywood display board proportionally appropriate to the size of the gingerbread creation. We may be shifting houses around due to the layout and age groups, so we prefer plywood, if possible, to assure no houses are damaged during set up.
