How To Talk So Kids Get Along With Each Other:
What we can do to improve kids’ relationships with peers and siblings
Conflict, Competition, Comparisons… Why can’t they just get along?
If you live or work with one or more kids of any age who interact with other kids of any sort (siblings, cousins, playmates, classmates, etc.), this workshop is for you!
We will focus on the perils of comparisons between children, the potential destructiveness of roles and labels, and how they can feed into an atmosphere of conflict and ill-will. Participants will have the opportunity to do hands-on exercises to practice effective strategies that promote harmony and good-will. The emphasis is less on what to do in the moment when kids fight, and more on what we can do outside of the moment to reduce the overall conflict to begin with. (For how to handle the fighting in the moment, please sign up for the How To Talk When Kids Fight, Argue or Bicker workshop.)
Prerequisite for the workshop: Read Part One of How To Talk When Kids Won’t Listen or Part One of How To Talk So LITTLE Kids Will Listen in advance of the first session.
This workshop series will not be recorded.
Early bird fee (ends April 24) is $189/person or $289/couple.
