Purpose:
The Division for Student Affairs Outstanding Freshman Leader of the Year Award is presented to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the University in their first year as a student and has outstanding personal characteristics.

Eligibility:
1. First-year Freshman
2. Enrolled in a minimum of 12 hours with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
3. Good disciplinary standing
4. Have made outstanding contributions to the University and/or community
5. Have outstanding personal characteristics.
6. Must be an active member of at least one (1) campus organization

Application Instructions
1.  Complete this application with the requested information.
2.  One Letter of Recommendation from faculty or staff members

The deadline to Nominate someone for the award is Monday, March 4th, 2024. The deadline to submit this Award Application or Nominee Packet is Monday, March 11th, 2024.  This application is not complete if we do not receive a letter of recommendation by the deadline. Award applications are reviewed by a committee of representatives from the Division for Student Affairs.

The 2024 DSA Awards Convocation takes place on Tuesday, April 23th, 2024.
