Queer Humboldt: Micro-Grant Application

Queer Humboldt offers micro-grants for people who are not heterosexual and cisgender in Humboldt County and the surrounding tribal areas, such as those who identify as Two-Spirit, Non-Binary, Transgender, Queer, Bisexual, Lesbian, and/or Gay.

Individuals are invited to apply for personal micro-grants and groups/organizations who serve queer people are invited to apply to support specific projects benefiting the queer community.

Examples of grants that will be considered: an organization wanting to buy LGBTQ2+ inclusive posters for their work space, an individual needing help paying for gender affirming clothing, voice coaching, body building, electrolysis, etc., a queer advocacy group needing supplies to host an outreach event, a queer person wanting to buy interview clothing or a public transit pass to get to job interviews, a family with a gender expansive kid wanting to purchase queer inclusive children's books, a classroom teacher wanting to attend a professional development program for building more inclusive schools, buying a birthday present for a queer youth, etc.
