Dear Saint Louis Ballet School Families,

Saint Louis Ballet School’s Recital 2021 will be an exciting event as we look forward to an in-person Recital! We've secured a larger theater, the Touhill Performing Arts Center, to allow for more space. We will continue to balance safety while striving to move forward and ready for performances.

We are later on costume prep as we secured the venue and need to move quickly. All levels will participate in the Recital. It is a fun experience and a special time when students get to shine on stage.

PLEASE REVIEW the information below regarding participation and SUBMIT THIS FORM no later than January 4.

COSTUME DEPOSIT: Due by January 9; Balances due February 13
A $20 costume deposit per costume will be auto-charged on January 9 or, if you choose to pay by check payment needs to be received by noon on January 9. The remaining balance of the costume will be due by February 13. Costume payments are non-refundable.
If a costume has been ordered for a student who has already confirmed his/her participation and suddenly is unable to participate, the parent is still responsible for payment of that costume.
YOUR COSTUME WILL NOT BE ORDERED UNTIL A DEPOSIT IS MADE AND THE REMAINING BALANCE IS PAID IN FULL BY THE DUE DATE.
For any costumes ordered after February 14, there will be an additional $10 fee. There are no refunds or exchanges on any costume ordered.

PRODUCTION FEE: Due by April 24
There will be a recital production fee of $110 per child or $160 per family due by April 24. Unfortunately, tuition only covers the daily costs of running the studio and bringing your children the best dance education in the area. Recital fees cover theater rental, professional stage technicians, sound and lighting crews, costume ordering, alterations and costume preparation for the performance day such as steaming, as well as the additional time faculty and staff put forth in putting together this wonderful production for the students.

COSTUME ALTERATIONS
No hassle! We take care of all costume ordering, alternations, storage, transportation to the theater on dress rehearsal day, and preparation for the stage. After your children have performed, they get to take them home for good.

RECITAL TICKETS
Recital tickets will go on sale at the beginning of May. These tickets will have assigned seating and will probably be sold through TuTuTix.com. Due to distancing we may need to limit the number of tickets allowed to purchase.

MOMMY AND ME (Thursday) will have a tap dance
All PREBALLET Classes will have a ballet dance and a tap dance

All the following classes will each have a dance to perform:
ALL BALLET 1-4 CLASSES
ALL JAZZ CLASSES
ALL TAP CLASS
ALL CONTEMPORARY CLASSES
ALL HIP HOP CLASSES
BOYS CLASS

Upper Level Dance Piece Assignments:
BALLET 5: Monday Ms. Lori and Tuesday Ms. Lisa
BALLET 6: Wednesday Mr. Colin and Thursday Ms Lisa
BALLET 7: Ms. CiCi (Thursday + Saturday classes)
BALLET 8: Ms. Lori (Wednesday)
(If you are not in an upper level class that is assigned a piece consider adding that class or moving to that class. Call the office for assistance at 636-537-1998).
