The Summer Scholars Transfer Institute (SSTI) is a collaborative effort between the UCI Center for Educational Partnerships’ Community College Programs and the Rio Hondo College Transfer Center. The SSTI Program is tailored for current Rio Hondo College students interested in completing Rio Hondo College transferable coursework while dorming and studying at UC Irvine. The dates for SSTI are Friday July 21, 2023 to July 30, 2023.

Outcomes & Activities

- Enroll in Counseling 100 and

- Enroll in either History 143 or Psychology 101

- Learn about best practices for transfer success
- Tailored support before, during and after the transfer process
- Experience university life through dorming, dining, and other activities
