C&J Equine Lingfield Race Day Trials - 24th April, 2024

Please use this form to select your preferred trials times, we will confirm availability as soon as possible.

C&J Equine will attend each trials and will be accompanied by stalls handlers, on course veterinary and paramedic cover.

All racehorses are eligible whether they have previously run or are un-raced or awaiting a stalls test.  Horses are grouped according to age with 8 horses in each trial.

All riders MUST be either licensed jockeys or have held a license.  All trainers to advise C&J of jockey bookings so that jockey shares can be confirmed with other trainers.  Jockey bookings to be confirmed no later than 3pm two days before each trials date.

***Passports*** Please be advised that Passports for all horses must be brought to the trials.  Prior to this, a screenshot of the vaccination report from the BHA racing admin portal (or a scan of the passport cover page and vaccination page) for ALL horses attending the trials will be required 48hrs in advance of the day via email to office@candjequine.co.uk.    

Passports must also be brought to the trials.

Stabling : Every stable used requires a deep clean which is labour intensive.  This means that we are subject to a restriction for stabling.  Horses have access to stables from 06.30hrs and must depart as soon as they are able to so that horses in later trials can be stabled.

Horses & jockeys to be ready in the parade ring 10 mins before allotted start time

Confirmed trials times and draws will be published online via a link which you will receive.  Any amendments will be confirmed at least 24hrs before each trials day.

Charges : The cost is £145/horse + VAT based on 40 or more horses and this includes :

• Use of stalls (at 6f furlong start)
• Gallop afterwards (6f start to winning line)
• Racecourse stabling
• Provision of Paramedics & Vet
• The team from C&J and Stalls Handlers
• Professional filming of each trial

Due to the logistics and third party support booking required for each trials, all bookings are payable 48 hrs in advance, by BACS.  This is non-refundable unless the trials are cancelled.

Trainer engagement agreement : All trainers will be required to agree to the Trials Terms and Conditions which will be emailed upon receipt of bookings.

Please provide an email address for footage of the trials to be emailed to.  This will be available 24-48 hrs after each session and ownership of all footage remains with C&J Equine Ltd.  Permission is granted to trainers with horses at the trials for footage to be shared with connections for updates and use on social media. Use of mobile phones is not permitted at any trials and trainers accept responsibility for briefing staff. Horses will be removed from the trials if this is not complied with.
